The use of pressure sensitive adhesive tape and its characteristics
1. The adhered surface should be fully cleaned of oil, moisture, and impurities.
2. Apply a certain amount of pressure after laminating and use rollers to make the bonding strength the best.
3. Adhere to the ambient temperature at 20 °C ~ 30 °C `.
4. After the adhesive tape is attached, it cannot be peeled off again, but pay attention to the position before the tape is attached.
5. The tape should not be placed in a hot environment to avoid overfilling problems.

Selection process and project confirmation
1. Explain the purpose of the tape and its purpose (1) in which industries;
(2) Names of products and fittings;
(3) Effects (permanent bonding, temporary bonding, re-stripping).

2. The working temperature of the product? Determine whether the adhesive and the substrate can meet the requirements (1) The use temperature range of acrylic adhesive is -40°C~200°C
(2) Temperature resistance of plastic film: Polyethylene (PE) < Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) < Polypropylene (PP) < Polyester (PET)
(80°C) (90°C) (120°C) (140°C)
(3) The product should be used within the permissible temperature range. The minimum temperature of the adhesive tape and the adherend is preferably 10°C or higher. Usually, good sticking effect can be achieved after 24 to 48 hours.

3. Analyze the adaptability of the adherend material and adhesive The type, material, shape, thickness, surface condition, etc. of the sticker.

4. Does the surface of the paste have high and low surface energy?
(1) It is easier to obtain strong adhesion on the surface of high-energy materials (2) The surface of low-energy materials is difficult to bond with general adhesives.

5. Product must bear the conditions

(1) External stress (tension, shear, compression, bending, impact, vibration, etc.);
(2) Environmental conditions (indoor and outdoor, temperature, humidity, water, oil, chemicals, etc.);
(3) Whether viscose is in direct contact with easily translatable substances (plasticizers, sulfur, etc.);
(4) Special requirements (transparency, conductivity, insulation, anti-corrosion, anti-ultraviolet radiation, useful life, etc.).

6. Product operating conditions (1) Paste cooperation (manual and mechanical, continuous and intermittent);
(2) Processing conditions (temperature, pressure, pressurization time);
(3) Whether it is processing (punching, etc.);
(4) Is it reused?

7. Others should pay attention to the use of factors (1) Consider the existing technology and equipment to determine the appropriate size (thickness, length, width);
(2) release paper and release film (thickness, color, hardness);
(3) Printing ink adaptability;
(4) Printing and tearing.
