Based on the successful launches of the VarioPrint 5115 and 5160, Océ recently released the VarioPrint 5140, a new high-end printing system with a speed of 139 pages per minute. The device is an industrial printer and digital printing production line designed for users who handle large quantities of diverse operations. It is mainly used in data processing centers and commercial printers with a monthly production capacity of 800,000 to 1.5 million.

VarioPrint 5140 is more suitable for handling long-lived jobs. It can achieve paper feeding capacity of 15 paper trays of 15600 sheets A4. Each tray can be programmed to achieve a continuous selection of paper feeds, and can handle a variety of paper types, including A3+ and 60-200 g/m2 in a variety of different qualities. Its print resolution can reach 600dpi, and support IPDS and PCL5e data input format.

Based on Océ's unique CustomTone toner concept, the VarioPrint 5140 meets the demanding requirements of customers for improved print quality and production flexibility. In addition, it also supports Quick Change Development Unit Technology (QCDS). By simply replacing the developer unit, users can complete multiple types of document processing on the same printer. In other words, by using standard toner, customized color toners or MICR magnetic toner, you can realize the needs of many different printing services on the same device.

Helmut Simon, International Product Manager responsible for VarioPrint 5140, said: “Improve productivity is the cornerstone of all printing equipment and workflows. The application of PRISMA Printing Resource Management Software will effectively improve the productivity of the VarioPrint 5140 and will satisfy users well. Requirement.” PRISMA is a highly modular print management software that incorporates print servers and all related core functions and application modules; each module can be attached to the print system at any time, and each application module can be automatically linked to each other.
