According to Xerox, Xerox is continuously expanding the models and new products of color digital presses, and recently introduced the new Docucolor 7000 digital press, which achieves a printing speed of 70 pages per minute.

The Docucolor 7000 is ideal for users who are new to the color digital printing market for the first time, or who are trying to achieve higher levels of competitiveness, productivity, reliability, and higher image quality.

The new equipment expands Xerox's high-end color printing equipment, which ranges from 45 ppm to 110 ppm.

According to Xerox, the Docucolor system has sold more than 12,000 units in the global market since it was successfully developed in 2000.

Anoush Dowlatshahi-Gordon, head of the production systems division of Xerox UK, said: “The Docucolor 7000 has increased our capabilities in color digital printing, enabling us to serve a wider range of customers and to accompany them in their career development. Our color digital products provide customers with the best technology choices, they have the right workflow as support, and can choose different support tools according to the budget and job requirements.” Docucolor 7000 has a resolution of 24,002,400 dpi.

The machine can also handle a variety of paper sizes and different types of paper, so it is suitable for a wider range of applications and market environments, such as on-demand printing, online printing, book publishing and personalized publishing.
The Docucolor 7000 has three color server options, one for handling input files and workstations that drive digital presses, and it can be integrated with the customer's existing workflow.

Printing companies can use the Xerox Freeflow DocuSP controller, or Creo's color server.
