1, storage
(1) Anilox roller packaging is stored in a dry place in the room to prevent damage due to moisture, rain, and direct sunlight.
(2) When changing the anilox roller, it is necessary to protect the roller surface of the anilox roller to prevent collision damage, and do not store uncleaned anilox roller. Wrap the roller with packaging foil made of natural fiber when storing.
(3) The roller is fixed on the special bracket during storage. Do not place the roll surface on the ground with a slant, as this can easily damage the sprayed coating on the surface of the roll.
2, loading and unloading
Do not lift the lifting rope directly on the roller surface to lift the moving roller, so as to prevent the roller from falling when lifting. The correct way to move the rollers is to attach the straps or other supports to the shaft ends of the rollers and avoid touching the edges of the rollers or other parts of the ceramic spray.
3, printing environment
Remove the dust magazine on the print surface before printing to keep the print department clean.
4, ink selection and filtration
Do not use inferior inks that contain filler impurities. Place a magnetic filter in the ink tank to prevent metal impurities from scratching the anilox roller.
5, timely cleaning
After each printing, the surface of the roller must be thoroughly cleaned in a timely manner to prevent the remaining ink from remaining in the bottom of the mesh to dry and clog the mesh, making it difficult to clean effectively, causing a reduction in volume, a reduction in the amount of ink released, and affecting the printing quality.
6, check
Frequently use mesh microscopy to detect mesh. If wear and clogging are detected, take timely measures.
7, the correct use of scraper
(1) Do not over pressurize the squeegee to obtain more shades to increase the anilox roller and blade wear.
(2) Do not rotate the dry anilox roller against the squeegee.
(3) Each time the squeegee is renewed, the pressure needs to be reset. The wrong pressure setting will produce scraper blades and damage the roller surface.
(4) Stop using the squeegee that has exceeded the maximum degree of wear, establish a daily process for monitoring changes in squeegee wear, and steadily control the degree of wear of the squeegee to prevent damage to the anilox roller.
(5) Keep the roller and scraper parallel at all times, and check and calibrate every 15 days.
8, a reasonable choice of cell type
Use the correct mesh depth and opening ratio. The correct ratio means a smoother surface and slower blade wear.
9, the correct daily maintenance of anilox roller cleaning
(1) Daily cleaning of wire brush: Wipe the ink with solvent first, then use a special chemical cleaning agent, use a special stainless steel wire brush with wire diameter of 0.07 mm to clean the mesh.
(2) Chemical cleaning agent soaking and cleaning: Use a special anilox chemical cleaning agent to soak the roller, spray the solvent to the rotating anilox roller through the high-pressure spray device moving axially along the roller, and clean the mesh hole. Residual ink inside, rinse with clean water and air dry.
(3) Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) dry cleaning system: It uses the principle of spraying sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) powder to the anilox roller to hit the residual dry solid ink in the mesh, which can effectively clean the anilox roller.
(4) Ultrasonic cleaning: The roller is immersed in a chemical cleaning solution and slowly rotated. The ultrasonic generating device vibrates the solution and generates numerous micro-bubbles that hit the mesh hole. The bubbles explode under pressure to clear the residue in the mesh. The purpose of cleaning the mesh. Care must be taken to use suitable ultrasonic intensity, frequency, time, and solution temperature to prevent excessive cleaning of the anilox roller's mesh.
10, It is strictly forbidden to clean the wrong way
(1) Steam spray: It can damage the engraved surface of the anilox roll, resulting in deformation and corrosion of the steel body.
(2) Fire: High-temperature fired flames can seriously damage the ceramic surface, causing the anilox roller to undergo thermal deformation and leave traces on the ceramic.
(3) Acids and their Chemical Substances: This is the worst way to try to clean the rollers. Many acid compounds can seriously affect ceramic spraying and can corrode shaft and steel bodies. Moreover, acid can also affect the operator's health.
Correct and timely maintenance of the anilox roller is a direct guarantee for preventing roller damage, prolonging the service life, and obtaining a stable high quality print.
