The production of printed products is often accompanied by a certain amount of material consumption, reducing the consumption of this part of the material will inevitably reduce the production costs of printed products, under the premise of unchanged product prices, it also means that the increase in corporate profits. From the perspective of market competition, the reduction of costs means that the price competitiveness of enterprise products will increase. Therefore, the factory has always put the cost control throughout all aspects of production, and to control the material consumption as a breakthrough, and received certain results. First, change the fixed proportional loss as the reference proportion loss

In the printing process, due to factors such as proofing, overprinting, machines, and paper quality, it is inevitable that there will be some paper loss. Therefore, a certain percentage of surplus paper is generally reserved for production. Companies that do a better job in this area may stipulate different proportions based on different papers, different printing machines, and so on. However, once this kind of practice is implemented as a rule, it will still cause certain problems. Because there are many influencing factors in printing production, some factors are difficult to predict and control. In actual printing, some kinds of prints appear to be wasted at a fixed ratio, while other types of prints show insufficient margin. In response to this dynamic change, it is appropriate to change the fixed proportional loss to the reference proportional loss, that is, the paper margin is also opened at a fixed ratio, but the production personnel are required to dynamically control the paper loss in the production process with reference to the ratio and control the reference. Operators within the proportion are given corresponding incentives. This will not only increase employees' enthusiasm for cost control but also reduce unnecessary paper loss.

Second, change the single-sided printing to double-sided printing

In the early stage of print production, proofing is often carried out several times, and the school can ensure its quality. In this process, although the consumption of paper is relatively small compared to the whole printing process, the price of printing paper is generally high (especially for laser printer paper). Therefore, it can save a small amount of expenses by reducing its consumption. In practice, for the printed paper, it cannot be simply disposed of as waste paper, but it should be stored in a centralized manner. Use it to print proofreading proofs for internal use, so that one sheet of paper can be used for two purposes. Now.

Third, the change is designed as a joint design

From the user's point of view, each printing business may take place independently. However, from the point of view of printing production arrangements, it is necessary to first look at whether there is a connection between independent businesses, and it is possible to conduct joint design and printing of linked independent businesses. . For example, there are two types of long-term open documents that are independent of one another, one for printing 100 copies, the other for printing 200 copies, all using the same paper. At this time, it is possible to use one edition of 100 copies and 200 editions of two editions to make a zinc oxide one edition when arranging production, so that it is possible to save time and time for two independent business editions.

Fourth, change the double-sided printing for single-sided printing

When the factory prints a standard bound copy (16 pages), the user requests to keep the cover of each book in the bound edition (the back is blank), and ensure that each cover is placed in a single code, so that a book will be down Single-page (or rather blank pages). This kind of product with few prints and not very high quality requirements, we generally use 8 small offset presses for printing. If the normal folding method is used for continuous plate making, all zinc oxide plates with half the number of single-page printing will be made, because every two pages can be printed with one plate, but in fact, each page and other pages When a frame is formed for two-sided printing, the blank page on the back of the single page is equivalent to a half-page version. In this case, all single pages can be printed consecutively before being stapled and then disconnected. If you can't make a post because you have taken out a single page, you can use a small upset platemaking. With this measure, not only is the consumption of media reduced, but it also saves time on the plate.

Fifth, change disposable supplies for multiple supplies

The factory introduced the laser printer earlier. At that time, the consumable cartridge assembly of the laser printer was considered to be disposable. Once the cartridge was scratched or the toner was used up, it had to repurchase a new cartridge. However, we did not abandon the old ones but kept them properly. After using long-life cartridges and dedicated toner for laser printers, the previously saved “waste” cartridges, powdered powders, and drum replacement drums were used to achieve multiple uses of a single consumable and reduced printing costs. .
