Pour point refers to the lowest temperature at which the cooled sample can flow under the specified test conditions; the freezing point refers to the maximum temperature at which the oil surface of the cooled sample no longer moves under the specified test conditions. , are expressed in °C.

Main performance

The pour point or the pour point is high, and the low temperature fluidity of the oil bottle is poor. According to the level of pour point of oil, people can consider the measures that should be taken when transporting, storing, sending and receiving under low temperature conditions, and can also be used to evaluate the low temperature performance of some ports. However, when evaluating the low temperature performance of multi-pole internal combustion engine oil and vehicle gear oil, the low temperature dynamic viscosity, boundary pumping temperature, and groove forming point should be taken as the main parameters. Physical meaning; pour point is one of the parameters reflecting the low-temperature fluidity of oil. The lower the pour point, the better the low-temperature fluidity of the oil.

Detection method: under the specified conditions, the oil is cooled to a predetermined temperature, the test tube is tilted by 45°, and the highest temperature reading when the liquid level is not moved after 1 minute is both a pour point.
