1. New DRAGONMED PROLINE pipette
The new DRAGONMED PROLINE is a low-end manual pipette designed for simple sampling and dispensing. The operation of all pipettes in the PROLINE series is based on the principle of air displacement and uses disposable pipettes. The range of PROLINE pipettes ranges from 0.1ml to 5ml.
DRAGONMED PROLINE quantitative pipette
All DRAGONMED PROLINE pipettes are sampled according to Q / TFBM02-2002 and DIN 12650 standards. According to the requirements of Q / TFBM02-2002 and DIN12650, quality control includes the use of the manufacturer ’s original pipette and distilled water at 22 C Perform a gravity sampling test on the pipette.
DRAGONMED PROLINE pipettes cover all ranges of PROLINE pipettes and can be used with PROLINE pipettes. These separable disposable pipettes are made of natural colored polypropylene and are available with or without filter elements. The suction nozzle with filter is boxed and sterilized; the suction nozzle without filter is bulk or boxed and can be sterilized at high temperature and pressure (121 ° C, 0.11MPa)
Note: Pipettes are not equipped with pipettes, do not pipette!
2. package
The DRAGONMED PROLINE pipette packaging includes the following items:
l Pipette
l Calibration / disassembly tools
l Silicone oil
l Instructions
l Pipette suspension
l Suction nozzle
l Identification label
l Colored marking caps (except fixed pipettes)
l Filter element (> 10ml pipette)
l Performance certificate (according to Q / TFBM02-2002, DIN E-12650-7)
3. Install pipette holder hook
For convenience and safety, the pipette should be hung vertically on the rack hook when not in use. To install the pipette holder hook, please follow the instructions below:
3.1 Clean the shelf surface with alcohol
3.2 Peel off the protective paper on the adhesive
3.3 Press the rack hook along the edge of the shelf
3.4 Place the pipette on the rack hook
Note: There is another ergonomic rotary pipette holder for selection, which can place 5 pipettes.
4. Pipette operation
4.1 Setting the range
The display window of the handle clearly shows the amount of liquid dispensed by the pipette. The pipetting volume is set by turning the operation button clockwise or counterclockwise (adjustable pipette) (Figure 4). When setting the range, please note
l Rotate to the desired range
l Clear numbers in the display window
l The set range is within the range of the pipette
Do not turn the button out of the measuring range, otherwise it will jam the mechanical device and damage the pipette.
4.2 Sealing and ejecting the suction nozzle
It is recommended to use the PROLINE pipette with a pipette. Before assembling the suction nozzle, make sure that the connecting piece of the suction nozzle is clean. Press the suction nozzle tightly on the pipette nozzle connection piece to ensure that the seal is intact. The mark is between the suction nozzle and the black pipette
The mouth piece forms a clear seal. Each pipette has a pipette ejector to eliminate the security threats posed by pollution. Press the ejector down firmly to eject the nozzle. Take care to discard the suction nozzle into a suitable waste container.
4.3 2 in 1 pipette
PROLINE 5ml and 10ml fixed pipettes, and 0.5-10ml adjustable pipettes can be adapted to 10ml and 300ml pipettes. The pipette is equipped with two kinds of pipette ejection shafts at the same time. The factory is equipped with a shaft for 10ml pipettes. If using a 300ml pipette nozzle, please replace the ejector shaft as follows:
l The nozzle ejector is pushed down to the end;
l Insert the pin of the gun dismantling tool into the middle part of the ejection rod and shaft of the suction nozzle, and release the locking device;
l Remove the nozzle and push out the shaft;
l Hold down the nozzle ejector downwards and insert the locking pin of the 300ml ejection shaft into the small hole on the ejection rod;
l Loosen the nozzle ejector, then press up and down to see if it moves freely

4.4 Protective filter
The PROLINE single-channel pipette (> 10ml) has a new pipette attachment that can be optionally equipped with a replacement filter. The filter element prevents liquid or aerosol from entering the pipette. There are two filter elements to choose from: standard type and reinforced type. The enhanced filter element can completely isolate liquid and aerosol. And the filter element does not affect the pipette calibration.
5. Pipetting technology
l Note that the pipette, pipette and liquid are at the same temperature
l Note that the suction nozzle is tightly fitted on the connecting piece
l The pipette stays upright when aspirating and the aspiration nozzle is only a few millimeters below the liquid
l Pre-wash the suction nozzle before aspirating, that is, aspirate and discharge the liquid 5 times. This is especially important when transferring viscous or dense liquids different from water
l Always use the thumb to control button movements to ensure consistency
5.1 Forward pipetting
This technology uses a blow-out function to ensure complete liquid transfer.
l Press the button to the first stop
l Submerge the suction nozzle 2-3mm below the liquid surface, and slowly release the button to return to the origin. Carefully lift the suction nozzle and stop on the container wall to remove excess liquid
l Press the button to the first stop point, the liquid will be discharged. After a short pause, continue to press the button to the second stop point (that is, blow out), this step will empty the suction nozzle to ensure accurate transfer of liquid
l Release the button to return to the original point. If the nozzle needs to be replaced, continue to pipette
5.2 Reverse pipetting
Using this technology will suck in more liquid than the set range, and the pipetting does not need the blow-out function, so that excess liquid remains in the suction nozzle. This technique is recommended when transferring highly viscous liquids, biologically active liquids, easily foamable liquids, or very small amounts of liquids.
l Press the button to the second stop point, submerge the suction nozzle 2-3mm below the liquid surface, and slowly release the button to return to the original point
l Carefully lift the suction nozzle and stop on the container wall to remove excess liquid
l Lightly press the button to the first stop point to discharge the set range, continue to hold the button, the liquid will remain in the suction nozzle without being transferred
l Excess liquid is discarded with the suction nozzle or returned to the original container
6. Store
If the pipette is not used, it is recommended to hang it vertically on the pipette holder. See Chapter 3, Installing Pipette Holder Hook.
7. Performance testing and recalibration
Each pipette has been tested before leaving the factory and has a test certificate.
Note: Pipette performance is only guaranteed when used with DRAGONMED PROLINE pipette tips.
7.1 Performance test (check calibration)
l Weighing must be at 20-25 ° C
l Avoid: Set the required pipetting range, carefully install the pipette nozzle, pre-wash the pipette nozzle with distilled water, pipette 5 times, carefully pipette, keep the pipette upright, transfer the distilled water to the weighed beaker Use a balance of 1 in 100,000 to weigh, repeat at least 5 times and record each result.
Then calculate the range according to the density of water (20 ° C: 0.9982). This method is based on Q / TFBM02-2002, DIN 12650, and the error value (F) is calculated using the following formula: F = | Accuracy | 2.
