Acacia gum contains arabic acid (X-COOH). This acid is a good cleaning agent to remove greasy oil on the surface. The gum on the surface will have a greater effect after drying. After rubbing the gum arabic on the plate, after the glue is in contact with the inorganic salt layer on the plate, a better hydrophilic film is formed to improve the hydrophilicity of the plate.
