New FreshMax Deoxidizer Extends Food Preservation and Shelf Life

Multisorb Technologies, the world leader in active packaging solutions, introduced the new FreshMax deoxidizer to improve the freshness and quality of packaged foods and maintain the flavor and color of foods.

FreshMax is made entirely of solid food grade ingredients and is a self-adhesive deoxidizer that is bonded to the packaging tissue by resin and can be used in conjunction with most pressure sensitive labels. Even if the fresh Max's pouch is cut, the deoxidizer will not spill onto the food.

FreshMax can prevent cooked food, processed meat products, nuts, baked foods, fast foods, dairy products and other packaging foods from corrupting, breeding mold or other damage, but also reduce or eliminate food additives and preservatives. The FreshMax label is affixed to the inside surface of the package to inhibit the growth of mycelial bacteria and microorganisms in the sealed package and to control oxidation and biochemical spoilage reactions. FreshMax can reduce the oxygen content in the package to less than 0.01%. This product can be used alone or in combination with a vacuum/pneumatic package.
