Without the shutdown of the printing machine, imported paper frame equipment such as MSG, domestic zero-speed automatic paper picking machine can Realize the exchange from one roll paper to another roll paper. However, if the waste paper generated at the bonding place after the printing machine replaces the new paper roll is not picked out in time, it will reach the readers. The newspaper will punish the printing plant with a major quality accident or even cancel the printing plant ’s printing qualification. Take this very seriously.

In the general newspaper printing workshop, the automatic paper receiving machine is on the first floor, and the printing host and stacker are on the second floor. In order to be able to sort out scraps, a camera is installed above each pick-up machine on the first floor of the workshop, and a display is installed next to the operation console of the printing host on the second floor, so that the operator can notice the pick-up of the pick-up machine. However, a paper picking process is completed in an instant. The main task of the operator is to pay attention to the quality of the newspaper. In order to reduce their burden, a sensor switch is installed next to the paper picker on the first floor of the workshop, and on the second floor of the printing machine. An alarm is installed above the display, and a label must be attached to the new web. Before the new roll of paper is about to be updated, the operator of the paper machine presses the sensor switch first, the alarm on the second floor alarms, the operator of the printing machine is highly concentrated, observes the moment the paper machine on the display receives the paper, and finds the new one in time The pre-labeled newspaper on the roll paper flows out from the outlet and quickly picks it out.

In order to be able to sort out scraps, the printing plant has invested a lot of material resources, but this is because the printing machine is faster, the paper picking process is completed in an instant, and the phenomenon of missed picking occurs from time to time. Scraps have to be completed after the printing task is completed. It took a lot of time to find the bundle of newspapers. So is there a device through which such waste can be sorted out reliably?

2 Solution

After the newspaper is printed, it flows out from the outlet of the folding machine, passes through the stacking machine, counts, piles up, and bales. The stacker generally has a waste discharge and reporting device. Once the stacker blocks the report or other failures occur, the gate of the waste discharge and reporting device opens and the newspaper flows out of the gate in advance. For this reason, we used this gate, which is a pneumatically controlled newspaper discharge gate. The cylinder used is the original cylinder. Only two buffers are added to the air inlet and air outlet of the cylinder. The solenoid valve is no longer The original one-way valve is used, and a two-way solenoid valve is used to open and close the gate. The coil in the air valve is powered on and off to control.

In addition, an inductive sensor is installed at the exit of the folding machine. This inductive sensor is called a label sensor (manufactured by Siemens, model BERO 3RG4), which is used to detect newspapers with aluminum residues. When installing this sensor, make sure that the position is correct. The distance between the sensor and the starting metal sheet should not exceed 2mm. The aluminum foil tape with aluminum residues is 60mm × 40mm in size. The proper position of the roll paper to be updated.

In order to realize this function, a set of electrical device must also be installed. The main component of this device is the time relay, model JSS48A. The time relay can be adjusted in two time ranges from 0 to 99, and the equivalent is selected as 0.1 second. The first time (hereinafter referred to as t1) controls the time from the detection of a newspaper with aluminum residues to the opening of the gate, and the second time (hereinafter referred to as t2) controls the duration of the continuous opening of the gate.

3 Working principle and parameter debugging

When the newspaper with aluminum residue passes through the tag sensor, the sensor receives a signal and sends it to the electrical device. After the calculation of the delay time t1, the electrical device turns on and off the coil in the solenoid valve, the waste gate opens, and the waste newspaper flows out and opens. After t2 time, the gate automatically closes.

After the installation of the device is completed, online debugging is required. First, roughly calculate the values ​​of t1 and t2. Take the Roland 60 unit as an example: the host speed is about 54,000 copies / hour when receiving the report, then the newspaper passed by the label sensor every 0.1 seconds is 1.5, the distance between the two newspapers at the outlet is 50mm, and the distance from the label sensor to the gate Calculated at 2.5m, 50 newspapers can be placed, so t1 is 50 ÷ 1.5 = 33 seconds. Considering that the aluminum foil is attached to the new paper roll, there are 2 scraps in front of it, so the value of t1 is selected as 30 . There are generally 4 scraps excluded, but due to the uncertainty of the speed of the unit and the instability of the pressure of the gas source, 12 scraps generally excluded are more suitable, of which 4 scraps are most ideal in the middle. In this way, t2 takes 12 ÷ 1.5 = 0.8 seconds, and the value of t2 is chosen as 0.8. After t1 and t2 are adjusted, put the newspaper with aluminum residue on top of the induction sensor and take it out instantly. The gate has a process of opening and closing.

Then it can be debugged online. If all the scraps are not excluded, it may flow into the stacker before or after the gate is opened, and the value of t1 can be reduced or increased separately, and the amplitude can be larger. If the four scraps are not exhausted, they may flow into the stacker before or after the gate is opened. Similarly, the value of t1 can also be reduced or increased separately, the amplitude can be smaller, and the adjustment can be done one by one equivalent until All 4 scraps are discharged. The amount of exhausted waste can be increased or decreased by the value of t2, and the buffer of the air inlet and outlet of the cylinder can be adjusted to obtain the desired effect.

This new and simple waste disposal device has been used on two Roland 60 units and Beiren units in our company, and has achieved satisfactory results. The Roland 60 double-drum unit does not change the parameters under the two conditions of storing and not storing pages, and can reliably discharge waste. The effect of the Beiren single-drum unit is more obvious. The installation of this waste discharge and reporting device has saved a lot of money for our company and also improved the labor intensity of the operators.
