Gold nanocatalysis is one of the hot research fields of catalytic chemistry. Domestic and foreign catalytic workers have carried out a lot of research work on the preparation and catalytic performance of nanogold catalysts.

With the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Green Chemistry and Catalysis Center of the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics has conducted a series of research work on nano-gold catalysis since 2000 and achieved good progress. Representative work such as the first realization of gold nano-catalyzed oxidative carbonylation of amines to prepare N-substituted carbamates, the first realization of nano-gold catalyzed low-temperature water vapor shift selective reduction of nitrobenzene compounds, and the first realization of supported nano-gold catalytic activation of carbon dioxide Preparation of cyclic carbonates and development of non-calcined high-activity nano-gold catalyst preparation methods. Based on the above research work, the Nano-gold catalysis in fine chemical synthesis review paper written by the Green Chemistry and Catalysis Center was recently published in Chem. Rev. Recognition.
