In general, the indentation of corrugated cardboard is from the inside to the indentation, that is, when the indentation is die-cut with a flat-press flat die-cutting machine, the printing surface is down; and when the indentation is made with a flat-press flat die-cutting machine for white cardboard, it is from outside Inside pressure, that is, with the printed side facing up. Therefore, when the corrugated paper is indented, the inner paper (innerliner) is pushed outward into a dent, so when the box is folded, the outer paper (outliner) is stretched and tightened. The indentation line is easy to deviate to form irregularities (ie, the indentation line is not straight and the edges and corners are not clear). The white card paper indentation uses an indentation female template to form a convex circle on the inside of the cardboard. This convex round mark line causes the inner layer of the cardboard to form a layered peel along the two sides of the mark line. When indenting micro-corrugations, the author believes that the same method as white cardboard should be used, and the printing side can be considered to be pressed from the outside to the inside, while using the indentation negative template. Although the micro corrugated paper will not form an inner layer peeling along both sides of the indentation line like white cardboard, the outer paper will form a single pit, while the inner paper will form parallel concave lines along both sides of the convex line and flatten The corrugated core paper in the pits of the mark line can make the folding of the back lane (along the indentation line) have a similar good effect as the cardboard indentation line. This kind of outer paper and inner paper have two parallel trace lines, and the corrugated core paper sandwiched and crushed in the middle can solve the problem of irregular trace lines caused by the corrugated core paper at the adhesive point.

In fact, in F, N micro-corrugated indentation, the indentation can be from outside to inside or from inside to outside, depending on the actual situation. In order to get a better indentation effect, it is recommended to use a flat-headed indentation line instead of the round-headed indentation line generally used for white cardboard indentation. Paper stretching is also one of the main reasons for the burst of the mark line during die cutting and indentation, mainly because of the uneven and excessive tensile force on the paper during die cutting and indentation. Because the micro corrugation is thicker, the indentation of the female template of the indentation is also deeper, and the tensile force on the facing paper during the indentation is greater, resulting in tiny cracks. This problem is more likely to occur if you use a bottom die strip that is quickly pasted, because the bottom die strip (Matrix) does not have a flat surface, and it is all round. It is easy to cause an uneven surface, and the pressure and tensile force on the paper are also uneven. Therefore, the selection of rubber (sponge) on the knife plate is very important. Put some non-porous sponges along the knife line (for specific specifications, please consult the material supplier), which will help eject the micro-corrugated die-cut in time and reduce scratches. In general, the indentation of micro-corrugation is to crush the corrugated core paper pit in the middle. Therefore, core paper and pits have a great influence on the quality of indentation.
