Foreword This standard refers to Japanese Industrial Standard Z1516-1997 "Corrugated Cardboard for Packaging" and German Standard DIN 55468-1987 "Corrugated Cardboard for Packaging Materials", in which the burst strength index is JIS Z1516-1997 and the edge pressure strength index is DIN 55468-1987. This standard is the first revision of GB/T6544-1986 "Corrugated cardboard". 1 Scope This standard specifies the definition of corrugated board, code, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage. 4.2 楞-type structure and its size 4.2.2 Corrugated board thickness: The thickness of a single corrugated board shall be higher than the lower limit of the corresponding height specified in Table 2. The thickness of the double corrugated cardboard should be higher than the sum of the corresponding two lower values of the enthalpy height specified in Table 2. 3 Definitions and Codes
3.1 Definitions This standard uses the following definitions.
3.1.1 corrugated fiberboard
A composite board made of cardboard and corrugated corrugated paper that is used to make corrugated boxes.
3.1.2 Single wall corrugated fiberboard
2. Corrugated cardboard made by bonding two layers of corrugated board and a layer of corrugated corrugated paper.
3.1.3 double wall corrugatde fiberboard
A corrugated cardboard made of two layers of cardboard, two corrugated corrugated base papers and a corrugated core paper.
3.2 Codes for coded corrugated cardboard are as follows:
S1.1-S1.4 are the first 1-4 kinds of double-sided single corrugated cardboard of superior products.
S2.1-S2.4 are the first 1-4 kinds of double-sided single corrugated cardboard of first-class products.
S3.1-S3.4 are respectively the first 1-4 kinds of double-sided single corrugated cardboard of the qualified product.
D1.1-D2.4 are the first 1-4 kinds of double-corrugated cardboard with excellent quality.
D2.1-D2.4 are the first 1-4 kinds of double-corrugated double-corrugated cardboard.
D3.1-D3.4 are the first 1-4 kinds of double-corrugated cardboard with a good quality.
4 Product Category
4.1 Classification According to physical strength, single and double corrugated cardboard are divided into 4 types (see Table 1). According to the purpose and quality of raw materials, each corrugated board is divided into superior products, first-class products and qualified products. Among them, premium products are corrugated cardboard for export goods and valuables; first grade products are corrugated cardboard for domestic sales, and qualified products are corrugated cardboard for short-distance, low-cost packaging.
