[Editor's note] The project of "Environmental Intelligent 200L Steel Barrel Material Color Offset Production Line" developed by Jiangsu Huayu Printing and Coating Equipment Group Co., Ltd. won the second prize of the 2016 China Science and Technology Award of China Packaging Federation. On June 7th, 2016, at the technical training meeting held by Dezhou Steel Barrel Committee in Dezhou, Mr. Hu Yubing introduced the development of this equipment at the meeting and showed the production of this production line in Shandong Plain Co., Ltd. The products have attracted extensive attention from the domestic and international barrel industry. At present, the working principle of the 200L steel drum production line on the market is to spray after the first barrel, and the inner and outer surface coating adopts the airless spraying process, which can only be full-page solid or two-color spraying, and finally screen printing or thermal transfer text and simple Graphics, low resolution, monotonous color, unsightly, and low productivity. Now, as the market demand continues to increase, traditional steel drum production lines are increasingly difficult to adapt to market demand. Environmentally friendly intelligent 200L steel drum material color offset printing production line mainly consists of metal plate large-format electromagnet servo suction and discharge feeder, metal plate offset printing machine, quality inspection table, UV baking machine, metal plate large-format electromagnet servo suction and discharge receiving material The machine is composed of the advanced technology of printing and then barreling. The working principle is as follows: automatic feeding of metal sheet through feeder → iron plate positioning → offset printing → quality sampling → UV curing → conveying → sheet metal receiving Stacking, and through high-efficiency precision printing iron technology, printing iron process control technology, overprint synchronization technology, UV curing drying technology, intelligent control technology and other research, the large-scale metal sheet smooth iron feeding, offset printing color, beautiful and elegant, and improved Production efficiency, reduced energy consumption, significantly improved the level of China's steel drum packaging machinery and equipment, and filled the domestic gap. Figure 1 is a physical diagram of a steel drum color offset printing press. This set of equipment has completely independent and independent intellectual property rights, 4 authorized invention patents related to products, and 6 utility models. Apply for 6 invention patents directly related to the project. Below we introduce the key new technologies of this equipment to everyone. First, high-efficiency precision printing iron technology The technical route is shown in Figure 2. 1. Into the iron positioning technology. Mainly solve the pre-press positioning, while avoiding the iron skin crash. 2. High-speed conveying technology for printed products. It mainly solves the impact problem of printed products when transported at high speed between the printing machine and the drying room. 3. Collecting iron stacking technology. It mainly solves the problem of iron collection, smooth and neat stacking, so as to achieve the purpose of not shoveling iron, not scratching, and reducing noise. Second, the printing process control technology Adjustment, pressure regulation and ink adjustment are the three key issues of tin printing. The primary task of ink adjustment is to ensure the amount of ink, the thickness of the ink is appropriate, and the amount of ink along the width of the plate should be uniform. In addition, it is necessary to ensure that the non-image parts of the printing plate are not stained with ink to truly achieve water-in-oil and achieve ink-water balance. The technical route is shown in Figure 3. 1. Ink quantity control technology. It mainly studies the realization technology of reasonable ink volume and uniform ink volume along the width of the printing plate, and solves the problem of optimization and automatic adjustment of multi-color printing iron process parameters. 2. Ink roller distribution optimization technology. It mainly solves the dynamic characteristics of the inking system and ensures the uniform ink effect. 3, dampening technology. Third, overprint synchronization technology Overprinting accuracy is a key technical indicator that determines the quality of multi-color printing. It has always been a technical bottleneck in the manufacture of multi-color printing irons in China. The main problem is that there are many influencing factors and complicated influence rules. Among them, the main ones are the positioning accuracy of the iron sheet, the radial size of the drum, the position of the printing plate, the movement law of the tooth decay, and the thickness error of the iron sheet. The technical route is shown in Figure 4. 1. Printing pressure automatic control technology. It mainly solves the problem of printing pressure change and overprinting accuracy caused by the change of the thickness of the iron sheet and the radial size error of the drum (including the blanket cylinder and the impression cylinder). 2. Automatic adjustment of plate position. Research on intelligent three-position correction technology, using servo drive control to achieve automatic adjustment of plate position, improve the efficiency of adjustment and reduce the adjustment error. 3. Integrated positioning technology for printed products. Study technical issues such as the accuracy of the roller size and the optimization of the squeezing mechanism (optimizing the embossing roller squeegee delivery device, adopting the high point closing method, extending the dentition handover time), and ensuring the comprehensive positioning accuracy of the printed product. Fourth, UV curing drying technology The UV dryer collects the printing speed of the machine through the encoder, and then calculates the energy output of the ultraviolet light through the PLC, so that the printing speed and the drying effect are perfectly combined. Moreover, since the output of the ultraviolet light is controlled by the power output, the power can be fine-tuned in various color groups, so that the functions of automatic and manual memory drying are fully realized. For this reason, the stepless control of the variable frequency power supply makes its energy-saving performance the most reflected on the printing machine. Figure 5 is a physical diagram of a UV curing drying line. Fifth, control intelligent technology Based on the existing digital control, the intelligent process parameter selection system and process parameter optimization system are researched and designed, and the hardware and software technology scheme of the practical intelligent control system matched with the printed iron complete equipment is proposed. Combining the latest development trends of current network and monitoring systems, following the design principles of modularization, standardization, high reliability, easy expansion, and easy maintenance, the intelligent selection of system process parameters is realized, and the time for replacing processed products is shortened. The system structure is shown in Figure 6. 6. Comparison with traditional barrel technology The technical pair of this production line and the traditional 200L barrel production line are shown in Table 1. It is difficult to produce a common contrast between the small barrel printing iron regardless of size, thickness and printing speed. Therefore, only the comparison between the production line and the traditional barrel production line is adopted. Figure 7 shows a 200L steel drum produced by a conventional production line, and Figure 8 shows a steel drum produced by a color offset production line. From the perspective of the manufactured steel drums, the steel drums produced by the color offset printing line are more vivid, richer and more ornamental, and can better meet the different needs of the market. Seven, conclusion In summary, the main technical innovations of the color offset production line are as follows: 1. The new technology subverts the spraying process of the 200L steel drum first barrel, and adopts the advanced technology of printing the barrel first; 2. After adopting the new technology, the maximum printing speed is 40 sheets/min, and the original two-color spraying and screen printing speed is 6/min, which greatly improves the production efficiency; 3, using offset color printing, steel barrel products are colorful, beautiful and generous, to meet the needs of high-end users; 4, using offset color printing, can achieve anti-counterfeiting effect; 5. Reduce energy consumption by 50% with new process and reduce production cost; 6, using new technology can save a lot of manpower and material resources; 7, using a new process to reduce a lot of auxiliary equipment, saving production land. 8, the first color printing after the barrel process is the first, to fill the domestic gap.
